“I’m going to quote Iggy Pop and say, ‘I have a lust for life’. “Leonardo Dicaprio because I was in an elevator once and a US Postal worker said to me, ‘you know, you look like that boy from Titanic.’” If there was a movie made about your life, who would you like to see cast as your character? I’d invest at least $300,000 of it and if there was anything left, I’d buy a new bike (motorcycle and bicycle).” I would bring a briefcase full of money to as charity in Laos called Cope, that creates prosthetic limbs for victims of EXO. “I would buy each of my parents a house or whatever living accommodation they wanted. If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it? The thing about travel is this: I could walk over to the train station and buy a different route and get into the same explorer mindset.” It is just an amazing place I’ve been so far. But one of my favorite spots to go back to is the south of Spain. What is your favorite or dream travel destination? This week, we are welcoming Chris back from a 6-month adventure in Southeast Asia where he rode a motorcycle across Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Indonesia. He feels it’s a unique position where you get to lead, and learn, a ton. As Operations Supervisor, Chris enjoys the unique opportunity to be incredibly hands-on with many aspects in the operation from guiding his fellow co-workers to getting his hands dirty in the warehouse. He enjoyed the role he got to play in forging the “way” to safely accomplish a task. As Safety Officer, Chris was able to collaborate with his fellow colleagues to troubleshoot and solve problems. He loved connecting with the public, acting as customer service and as a guide to the city. As a Rebalancer, he, loved a bunch of things:driving through the city, being hands-on, and getting bicycles into the hands of people. Since joining Divvy at (nearly the beginning of Divvy) in June of 2013, he has served as a Rebalancer, Safety Officer and Operations Supervisor. This month, we shine the light on Chris, one of our Operations Supervisors. The questions are meant to give our riders a look into who we are, what makes us tick, and possibly provide some laughs. It’s that time again for the “Employee Spotlight” where we feature a member of our team and ask five random questions.
